Our Story

Jason Koford is a Texas- and Utah-licensed REALTOR® and full-time investor who has flipped properties, wholesaled his own deals, and previously owned and operated both a high-performing short-term rental and several long-term rentals before exiting those holdings. In 2024 he moved his wife and four children to the Dallas–Fort Worth market, earned his Texas license, and doubled down on investor-centric brokerage work.

What separates Jason from a traditional agent is his creative-finance playbook, fix-and-flip analysis, and knack for squeezing every dollar for sellers—skills that have earned him a 4.9-star rating on Zillow and Realtor.com. But Jason knows spreadsheets don’t close deals; relationships do. Seeing too many investors operate in silos, he launched Invested in Texas in May of 2025: a monthly mixer that blends live networking with friendly pickleball to melt the ice faster than any lunch-and-learn.

Today the meetup draws 40–60 lenders, agents, contractors, and active investors each month, giving attendees a ready-made roster while offering sponsors direct access to decision-makers. Jason’s mission is simple: turn “maybe” into “closed” by treating real estate like the team sport it is—where every player, from hard-money lender to GC, helps get the deal across the goal line.
